Norfolk. Man pissing up wall.

We went to Norfolk. It wasn't totally rammed with rarities but it was fun. Picked up two lifers, with the sabine's gull at Grafham Water and a pomarine skua off Titchwell, along with a handful of year ticks. Not that I'm counting, or anything. I'm totally not. In between birds we spent lots of time drinking various Brancaster Brewery ales and exciting single malts in the pub. I can recommend "The Wreck" and "Oystercatcher" beers, and Lagavulin 16 year old. I can also recommend scoping up Jupiter at the moment - moons clearly visible with bins (and, with a little imagination, the naked eye), and at high magnification, some stripes. Possibly. It was a bit of a strain, and I was several drinks down.

I don't have the time to post a whole post thing right now, so here's a picture of a pintail and a guy pissing up the seawall outside my flat.

It's good to be home.

No really, it is. I just wish this guy didn't exist.
